vintage moschino

My vintage Moschino bum bag was the perfect summer essential. It went with any outfit, and it was the making of any outfit. Ideal for festivals and holidays, I thank my mother for the hand me down from her old raving days, such a timeless classic.

A total update of Thailand

I never thought looking back to September when Alannah and I sat in the student finance office barely knowing each other, trying to get to know each other… we spoke about travelling…. the both of us started talking about how we would love to go but money, timing and university would be an issue. However after reading a student travel magazine and chatting over a coffee before we both knew it, more hours were booked into work and the flights were paid for. Well that was that, we were off to Thailand.

The holiday consisted of being graced (excuse the pun 😉 ) with the amazing Thai weather which then meant plenty of lounging by the pool and on the beach. Koh Phangan was very beautiful I have to say out of the two islands we went to Koh Samui and Koh Tao, Koh Phangan was out of this world and the best. Most of our days in Koh Phangan were spent eating an awful lot of Thai food and getting fat. The hotel we stayed in was the best hotel we had stayed in yet and it was on a remote beach on the island.

It was in Koh Phangan were Alannah and I went to the Full-moonlight party. What an absolutely funny experience that was. Well I thought it was all hyped up didn’t I! little party goer over here, think I know it all. Well I could not of been more wrong, it was amazing. Seriously good it has got to be one of the funniest and most surreal nights I have ever had. It lived up to the expectation that is for sure. Its incredible the minute you step off the boat and just see the thousands of people, buzzing lights, booooming music and UV paint it gives you goosebumps. You meet so many people! Everyone is on top form!

Alannah and I both went elephant trekking in Koh Phangan too. It lived up to all the expectations I had ever had. We both heard some negative things about elephant trekking in Thailand however luckily the one we went to was excellent. My advice to anyone who is wanting to go elephant trekking in Thailand just make sure you have done some research on where you are going.

Thailand is a must, if you ever get the opportunity to go then GOO! And if you are a student thinking it is not possible well I am an example of proving you wrong it is possible depending on how bad you want it 😉

Kob Khun Ka Thailand, Thank you for the memories.
